Music & Missions for Children

 

The Wednesday night "Music & Missions"  activities for children ages Kindergarten thru 5th grade are a part of the Wednesday night activities here at Hixson UMC. The Children gather from 6:15 to 7:30 to sing, play boomwackers, rhythm instruments, handchimes, make crafts and learn how they can offer help, hope and healing to the world through their gifts and talents.

2011 Children's Ministry Musical

On Sunday, August 21 we will begin rehearsals for the 2011 Children’s Ministry Musical. This year we are anticipating a team of more than 30 children and Elena Haskew will once again be the Director. The date of the musical is Sunday, December 4th! The musical is a highlight of Christmas for children and adults at Hixson UMC! Please return your yellow  postcard or respond to Melia Warren or Jeanne Sauer to let us know  if your child will be participating in the musical.
