Shoes for Orphan Souls

The month of August has been designated as Shoes for Orphan Souls collection time.  Shoes may be dropped off in the area near the reception desk August 1-31.  There are many good sales already in progress, particularly at the discount department stores.  We are hoping to beat last years total of 136 pairs of shoes and 72 pairs of socks.  Thanks to Elena Haskew and the Children’s Christmas program 2010, we are already off to a good start with 29 pairs of shoes and 3 pairs of socks!

All sizes are needed, but don’t forget there are some orphan teens who have large feet.  The pair you buy may be the means of someone hearing about God’s love for the first time!
