What is Recreation Ministry?

The Recreation Ministry program of Hixson United Methodist Church is designed to encourage Christian fun and fellowship in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a way for the members to build relationships with each other outside of structured activities, encouraging those of different generations to interact with each other.

Our Recreation Ministry offers many activities throughout the year. Additionally, we offer ways for our community to connect to each other through in hobbies and other interests outside of church sponsored activities.
